Ducks rampage a Los Angeles beach by crowding and attacking children and adults around them, killing eight and wounding hundreds. “They were everywhere and kept on coming,” Says reporter Bill Nye the Science Guy who was there to witness the scene.
Scientists studied the ducks after this tragic event to try and figure out why they would act this way towards humans.
The theory is that a flock of ducks landed on the Los Angeles beach, thinking the sand was food. They then called flocks from all over the globe to try the new snack. The first person they attacked was a two year old named Ben who was playing in the sand near to where the birds had landed.
Even though we have figured out why they did this we still don't know the whole story.
